GET MESSY WITH MIXED MEDIA | ANKE KRAMER | APRIL 2023 HIP KITS

Hi everyone, Anke here with a new mixed media layout inspiration for the Hip Kit Club featuring the April 2023 Hip Kits. I created a fun layout with rolled paper strips and a background made with modeling paste and the stencil, which is included in the April Color Kit.  

First I cut strips from the "Hip Kit Club Exclusive - Hip & Humble Memory Diary" paper. Then I cut out the little paint swatches from the "Hip & Humble Paint Box" paper and picked out those, that matched the colors of the paper strips.  

Then I rolled the paper strips on one end and arranged them on my page.  

I added some die cuts from the "Hip & Humble - Ephemera" pack and the "Fabric Floral Die Cuts" pack, which are included in the April Main Kit and some of the "Floral Ephemera" , which are included in the April Embellishment Kit.  

Before I adhered everything I created the background of my layout. I added a layer of modeling paste using the stencil, which is

included in the April Color Kit.  

Once the paste was dry I backed the cardstock with a piece of the "Hip & Humble - Hand Me Down" paper and glued it on my layout.

Then I added some machine stitching .  

I framed my photos using a frame die cut from the "Hip & Humble  - Ephemera " pack and one of the "Chipboard Frame Stickers", both

included in the April Main Kit.    

Then I adhered everything. I used foam tape and foam pads to add dimension.  

For my title I used the "Hip & Humble - Chipboard Alphabet Stickers" , which are included in the April Main Kit.  

I chose three of the "Hip & Humble - Clear Stickers", which are included in the April Embellishment Kit, glued them on pieces of the "Memory Diary" paper, cut them out and placed them on the matching paper strips. Then I added one of the "Puffy Mini Phrase Stickers", one of the "Puffy Shape Stickers" and some of the "Puffy Dot Stickers". All these stickers are included in the April

Embellishment Kit.
