Sophie here, excited to be back on the blog and I'm thrilled to present this vibrant page crafted with the May 2023 Hip Kits.
As it's Mixed Media Monday, I had the opportunity to experiment with the HKC Exclusive – Wild Flowers – Mandala 6×6 stencil and the Shimmerz Paints from the May 2023 Colour kit.
I diluted the inks on an acrylic block and, using a brush, applied them over the Mandala stencil in three distinct areas on a thick white Cardstock.
After drying, I stitched on each mandala with a thread that matched the colour to finalize my background.
I selected a large, colourful photo, layered it with pocket cards, 6x8 papers from the May Pocket Life kit, tissue paper and adhesive foam, and positioned it in the center of my page.
For my title, I used the stunning HKC Exclusive - Wild Flowers - Cardstock Layered Foam Alphabet Stickers from the Main kit, and created three clusters of embellishments using die cuts from the Main and Embellishment kits.
As a final touch, I added three delicate butterflies from the May 2023 Butterfly Metal Die Set.
